This week is going to be crazy fun! There are two not to be missed parties back to back Thursday and Friday. For those of you in Portland who love the land of sewing, this is a great week!

Thursday night, you can find most of the MD ladies at the Colette Patterns book launch party. Twitter told me that there will be some tasty shortbread and to-die-for brownies. There will also be giveaways from us, Bolt, and Colette. Dreamy.
The following afternoon and evening, Friday November 18th, we are celebrating right here at MD with our Holiday/Expansion party. Somedays it feels like I work with the worlds best elves who are always up to something new. Displays of machine embroidery, lovely window decor, posting new classes, all sorts of things have been happening around here, so you wont want to miss the chance to see the loveliness for yourself.

Also, we are all prepared to offer our next round of free mini classes. They are napkins – really cute, super stylish napkins in time for holiday tables. Meredith will give more info Wednesday (including photos of the project) and we will send out our newsletter announcing times and offering sign ups, so keep a look out. If you don’t currently receive our newsletter, sign up NOW! The napkins will be made to show off a few special things we love: neon thread, rolled hems, 9mm stitch width, and decorative stitches.
If you could join us at either event, we would be absolutely thrilled! To rsvp for the Colette party, follow the above link. For the MD party, hop over to facebook and give us a friendly RSVP on the events page.
