We are super duper thrilled to be able to giveaway a brand new BERNINA 215 sewing machine! This new model is all cozied up in its box at MD, waiting for some lucky winner to take her home. Like every machine that walks out the door, it will come with machine owner classes and day-of-purchase discounts on accessories!
There are 3 ways you can enter to win this machine. The last two can be done over and over, so don’t be shy!
- Come into MD for a machine presentation. You can put your name in if you test drive any BERNETTE or BERNINA sewing machine with a staff member (we will add you to the mailing list for this one, but you do have to come into the store). Limit one per customer.
- Sign up for a class. Each and every class sign-up is a chance to win. We are offering this from June 1st – August 31st, so you may have already entered to win!
- Come to a Friday Night Sewcial. Every Friday, you sew from 6-9pm for only $10 and each week you attend the sewcial, you are entered to win!

*sniffle* I live in Sisters so I can’t really do any of those. I found you through Elizabeth Hartman’s blog and really adore the cute stuff you post. *le sigh* I reckon my 40-year-old Pfaff is going to have to suck it up and keep trucking for a few more years.

You could always come by for a machine demo if you are in the city at all this summer and enter that way! We would love to show you what modern technology has done for sewing machines, some of it is crazy cool!

W00t! I didn’t see that I had pretty much all summer. Might be a possibility then. Call me a Luddite, but I’m really happy with my old Pfaff, it’s just getting on its years and hard to find accessories. Thus far in my search for a rock solid new machine I’m finding that my choices are pay for features I don’t need/want/desire at all or get a cheap, pure plastic piece of poo. In 17 years of sewing I’ve never had a desire to stitch the alphabet. Pretty sure that’s not gonna change. =)

Can’t forget the 23 years my grandma had it before me! If it would stop needle down, grow a knee lift and 2 more inches in throat I’d be the happiest girl alive!

Those happen to be two of my favorite features on my BERNINA 430! I hardly ever use the alphabet and decorative stitches, but when I want needle position control, I have got it! Plus, that knee lift lever makes sewing dreamy… It never seems to be the glitzy stuff that we fall for at MD, but it sure can be fun too.

Oh my goodness I know what you mean! That’s why I’m balking so hard at buying a new machine. I feel like I’m paying for a ton more stuff than I’ll use! My current Husqy crush does sew the alphabet, but it also has a 10″ throat, auto presser foot and needle down. Now to find the $1000…..
