Step Your Toe into the Sea of Improv Quilting!

What’s more perfect then learning how to improv sew on a Sunday afternoon? We’d love to have you come join us for the Wonky Log Cabin Pillow class. In this class, you’ll feel liberated as we make a quilt block without having to precisely measure every piece. Often so many people tell me they are fearful to start quilting because it requires so much precise sewing and measuring. If this is you, rest assured that this doesn’t have to be the case!

Another example of improv log cabin quilting is this beautiful quilt, Off Centered Improv (used with permission) made by one of my favorite quilting bloggers, Fresh Lemon Quilts. Isn’t it beautiful? I love the contrast of warm and cool colors, and how wonky and free it looks! After you’ve tried your hand at improv quilting making something like this won’t be out of reach!

Here’s a peek at some student’s work from previous classes:

We do have a few spots still available for this Sunday. Hope to see you there!

This was a great class to get the creative juices flowing. I had a delightful time and I recommend this class to anyone who is interested in dipping a big toe into the shallow end of the big ocean of quilting. Thanks MD!
