You may just want to stop by and sew and not even have a project in mind. We would like to make that possible. We are now packaging fabric kits for simple projects that come with Open Sewing cards so you can make the project right here at MD!
The first kit is for a set of rolled hem napkins, with colors of Kona Cotton chosen by Meredith. These are lovely and fresh for spring and a great way to brighten your table. The full kit comes with 4 half-yard cuts of Kona, three spools of serger thread and a 2 hour Open Sewing punch card! Plenty of time to cut and serger these springy napkins on our BERNINA 800DL sergers.
The kit includes enough fabric to make 8 napkins, so if you like, you could make a set of 4 for a friend and keep one set for yourself. If you have never used a serger before and are intimidated by threading, well, we will do that for you. All you need to do is sit down, relax, and sew.
