There’s still time to sign up for our first Home-Sewn Weekend of stitching fun! Our warm, bright studio will be filled with incredible teachers and inspiring projects all day Friday through Sunday, October 10th-12th. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, as will supplies for over half of the projects. BERNINA machines will be here to use and the weekend will be unforgettable!
Friday morning we’ll welcome you with a warm up project–a cozy Pendleton cowl. Susan Beal will join us for a trunk show and share projects from her new Pendleton book Hand-Stitched Home (a few projects in the book were even created by MD staff members!).
Friday afternoon, you will dive into free motion machine quilting with Blair Stocker from the blog wisecraft. You will make a beautiful modern faux bois pillow, complete with piping!
Saturday, we will all start out at the Colette Pattern Studio and have a visit with Sarai and discover her work space, inspiration, and more.
Saturday afternoon (and Sunday morning) you will make the Meadow Quilt with Lizzy House! This special quilt is exclusively available in workshops and will never be available as a printed pattern. In addition to the Meadow Quilt, you’ll also be making a pillowcase with an exclusive machine embroidery pattern designed by Lizzy herself!
All 3 days, we will include shorter creative sewing projects, featuring machine embroidery and sergers. Space is limited; reserve your spot today!
