The quilts currently in our studio are made by our teachers and staff members. It’s a treasure to have so much talent in one place. The community here at MD could not be what it is without the talented teachers using their skills to allow others to grow and learn. We are so grateful to them and their willingness to share their abilities.
To showcase the talented quilters we know and love, we’ve displayed a few of their quilts in our classroom gallery! These quilts will be on display now through March.
Christina Cameli teaches our free motion quilting classes. Her quilts are just lovely, with a bold use of color and thoughtful intricate quilting designs.
Meredith Hobbs, our knowledgeable and talented manager, uses negative space and bright colors to create a fresh and beautiful look to her quilts.
Consider the composition, quilting techniques, and color pallet unique to each person. It’s fun to see how each quilter has different styles that shine throughout their work.
Kimberly Lumampus made this beautiful grey quilt with a pop of orange. Her use of different values creates a 3-dimentional look.
Cath Hall is a crazy-talented paper piece teacher. Her quilts are so much fun and full of energy – just like she is!
Christina Lane has beautiful quilts on display. The use of geometric shapes in her quilting is just perfection!
Michelle Freedman, our sales associate and teacher extraordinaire, created this quilt with playful piecing and tight quilting techniques.
