Sewing Studio Rental / Open Sew
We are thrilled to invite you to use our Alberta St Sewing Studio! Bring a sewing or quilting project and work independently in our spacious studio!
Studio Rental Rates:
- $12 per hour
- $15 per hour – two people, one machine
- $65 per day (between the hours of 10am & 5pm)
Studio Rental Includes:
- BERNINA sewing machine & serger
- Cutting table & rulers
- Design wall
- High quality tools: scissors, rotary cutters, pins, thread snips, etc.
What to Bring:
- All supplies that are part of your project: thread, interfacing, fabric, etc.
Please call ahead to confirm studio availability. First come, first serve. Studio rental available only at our Alberta St location.
Machine setup assistance is available, however studio rental requires basic sewing machine knowledge and confidence to work independently without instruction. Thank you!
Longarm Rental / Freemotion & Qmatic
We welcome you to use our Q Series Longarms – Bring your quilt top(s) and finish your handmade quilts all on your own. Longarming is approachable, efficient, and so much fun!
Longarm Studio Rates:
- $60 half-day rental (10am-1pm or 1:30-4:30pm)
- $120 full-day rental (between the hours of 10am & 5pm)
Prior to renting our longarms, you must complete our Longarm Basic class. To use Qmatic, you must complete our Qmatic Basic, and Longarm Basic w/solo flight. Sign up for Longarm Classes HERE.
Longarm Rental Includes:
- BERNINA Q Series – Q16, Q20, & Q24 available dependent on location, please inquire. Qmatic is only available at our Alberta location.
- Cutting table & rulers
- High quality tools: scissors, rotary cutters, pins, thread snips, etc.
What to Bring:
- All supplies that are part of your project: thread, fabric, etc.
- We do have batting and wide-back backing for purchase.
