Little Boxes Black Weekend Sale Event

I think most of us take Portland for granted on any given day. When I travel to visit my parents in my home state of Wisconsin, I am reminded just how unique Portland is and how lucky we are to live in a city absolutely teeming with creative folks and small businesses that reflect that quality.

MD is proud to participate in the Little Boxes shopping event again this year, and when I attended the informational meeting run by Betsy and Will of Betsy and Iya I was struck by the awesomeness that is Portland. They not only handcraft jewelry that makes you swoon for, they have brilliantly created a fun way to shop small Portland businesses on the weekend when I frankly have always AVOIDED all things shopping. They have turned it into a scavenger hunt of sorts – you get to visit as many of the participating shops as you like and each time you stop in, you get entered to win one of the fantastic prizes.

On November 23rd and 24th (the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving), from 10am – 7pm, come in to our store or any Little Box and you’ll get a raffle ticket for a chance to win big.  There’s no purchase necessary and you can enter once in every Little Box you visit during these two days.  Prizes include an iPad and Grove Bamboo case, Spa Packages, a $600 Shopping Spree, plus merchandise and gift certificates from Portland’s best restaurants and boutiques.  Make a purchase at any Little Box and unlock a 10% discount* at the next Little Box you visit!
