Whenever I get a chance to use embroidery stitches on my BERNINA machine, I jump at the chance! July’s foot of the month is the Embroidery Foot with a Clear Sole.
This foot is for decorative, satin stitches and applique. Its transparent sole allows you to see your stitches at all times. There is also a wide wedge-shaped channel under the sole of the foot–this ensures perfect fabric feed over dense stitch formations.
I hopped on the BERNINA 630 (we have one left from our classroom sale at an amazing price!), and started using some of my favorite decorative stitches. I love how the screen shows me what stitch I’m currently stitching! The large color touch screen and multi-function buttons make this machine so easy to use. There are so many unique features with many timesaving components and functions.
Zipper pouches make the perfect gift. I love that I can easily send them in the mail to friends and family who live far away. Personalizing them with a few decorative stitches makes them even more special.
