Learn to Sew: Sew Basic Class
November 5 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm PDT
An event every month that begins at 10:30 am on day First of the month, repeating until March 6, 2023
Skill Level: Learn to Sew, ages 15 and up
Our Sew Basic class is the best hands-on introduction to sewing. You will not only learn how to use a sewing machine, but you’ll leave feeling confident and empowered to keep sewing! Everyone is welcome, no matter your skill level.
Learn to sew on our classroom BERNINA 4 Series sewing machines. Sew Basic is the class for everyone – the new sewist, someone who “hasn’t sewn in years,” and those who are interested in utilizing our classroom machines for studio rental or classes.
In this two-hour class you will sew a small drawstring bag with our step-by-step instruction. We will teach you how to navigate your way around a sewing machine including threading and bobbin winding, using various presser feet, and understanding new terms and sewing tools. By the end of class you will leave feeling ready to work independently on your next project. Sew Basic students are invited to join us for our upcoming “Learn to Sew” classes.
All supplies are included in this class along with a complementary one-time Studio Rental Pass!*
*Your complimentary studio rental is to be used with-in one month of your class and is a one-time use pass for up to 7 hours, Mon-Sat 10am-5pm at our NE Alberta . Scheduling is subject to studio availability (first come, first serve) so please call ahead to schedule.
