Learn To Sew: Artist Tool Roll

In this three-hour class you will make your own pencil roll that can be used to hold favorite pens, pencils, or paint brushes. You will learn many fun sewing skills and sew on a BERNINA sewing machine. You will gain experience measuring, cutting, pressing, and stitching in a small group format. This class is perfect for all ages and is a great class for beginners. We will cover sewing machine basics – there is no previous sewing experience required!
- Supply List:
- Two (2) fat quarters (one print and one solid)
- 1/2 yard lightweight fusible woven interfacing (recommended Shape Flex lightweight)
- 1 yard twill tape, cord, or ribbon (any width)

Please purchase supplies in advance of your class. If you plan to shop for supplies the day of your class we recommend arriving at least 45 minutes early.
What is a “Learn to Sew” class at Modern Domestic? You have never touched a sewing machine before or it has been years since you have. You know very little to nothing about sewing but you are eager to get started.
