There is nothing better than teaching a new skill to new sewists! I love teaching simple quilting techniques and have the joy of seeing their smiling faces and amazing finished quilted pillows! Didn’t they turn out beautifully?!

I had so much fun checking out everyone’s progress during Jacquie Gering’s all-day Slice and Insert Improv quilting workshop this week.
We are really looking forward to having Jacquie Gering guest teach at the shop on May 15th! She will be in town for Quilt Market, so we’ve snagged her to teach a Wednesday Workshop while she’s in Portland.
While I do want to show you the iron cord holders, I also just wanted to share what’s been going on at the store today. There’s always so much activity–sewing, creating, open sewists–I feel sometimes like we’re brimming!
