Our 2015/2016 Sewing Society is working through Handmade Style, the fabulous book by Anna Graham of Noodlehead. This month’s project we made a fabric basket, utilizing some of our favorite canvas and cotton fabrics. A basket like this is the perfect avenue to showcase beautiful, large scale prints.

June Sewing Society is coming up on Saturday, June 7th from 10am-12pm and we’re ready to prepare you for a summer full of fun! In June’s session, you will learn techniques for making a color-blocked canvas beach bag with a full lining and recessed zipper closure!
At Modern Domestic, we are crazy about making cowls! With spring approaching, we are using pretty double gauze and Liberty of London prints to make cowls, which are lighter in weight than knit scarves, and still so beautiful!
