Come join us Saturday November 13th from 4-6pm and meet the lovely Elizabeth Hartman, author of The Practical Guide to Patchwork and the blog-genius over at oh, fransson! She has been busy on the virtual world with a blog tour for the last few weeks, and will be making an in-person appearance here in just less than a week!
Elizabeth’s classes are very popular at Modern Domestic, and we will have her next sessions and even some new classes to announce by Saturday as well. You will be able to get a copy of her book, have her write you something special inside the cover, see many of the actual quilts in her book, and snack and chat with Elizabeth and other quilters.
Just after her book signing, you can stay and sew with Elizabeth and the other members of the Portland Modern Quilt Guild at their monthly sewing night. For only $10 you can use a machine, walking feet, pressing tools, and more to quilt the night away!
Oh yeah, I can not forget to mention that there will be giveaways!
