Teen Fashion Camp

Skill Level: Beginner

Calling all aspiring young fashion designers! Learn about the many steps of the design process as you go from concept to creation! From finding inspiration to creating a clear concept, researching color trends to choosing the right fabrics, get a glimpse of what it takes to create a successful design. Students will be able to choose one of three patterns inspired by winning designs on the hit TV show, “Fashion Star.” The first class will be devoted to the design and planning process and will include making an inspiration board, creating a color story, and walking down the street to BOLT to look for fabric. The students will work on sewing their creations over the following three classes. For ages 12-18.

Students need to have some basic sewing experience.
