The first class for the new sewist. This class will cover the basics and beyond of using a sewing machine. You will learn to thread the machine and wind a bobbin plus sample some presser feet. If you plan on using the studio for open sewing, this is a prerequisite (or equivalent sewing skill), and if you have never really known what your machine is capable of, this class is for you. You will leave this class feeling confident on any classroom machine at Modern Domestic and ready to start your first sewing project. Class includes 3 hours of open sew time.
