We’re wrapping up this year of our MD Quilt Gallery with Katie Pedersen! Katie is based in Seattle, WA and teaches modern quilting classes. She creates playful, modern quilts with graphic geometrics paired with intricate quilting.
This month in our MD Quilt Gallery we have the pleasure of displaying a number of quilts using an unconventional fabric. Wynde Dyer is a local artist who, among other forms of art, creates one-of-a-kind quilts using tarps.
Our gallery is looking bright with colorful quilts featuring Kona Cotton solids from Robert Kaufman Fabrics. It’s fun to see what quilters can do when using exclusively solid colors. Solids are versatile and allow for modern, geometric, and traditional quilt designs.
