Our summer has been so much fun! With kids classes most weeks, a trip to San Francisco for BERNINA University, and people coming by from near and far to see the expansion we have been busy! We have started showing quilts in our big downstairs classroom and are introducing new teachers for fall along with new classes and fabric collections coming in weekly!
It’s almost the first Saturday of August! I’d love for you to join me for our Sewing Society meeting on August 3rd, where this month our project will be these versatile and handy vinyl pouches!

While I love scrappy, intricately pieced quilts and enjoy combining prints, I have to be honest with myself. I am a large scale quilter. I need the pieces to be big–the bigger the better. That is how I actually manage to get quilts done. — READ MORE —
Whenever I get a chance to use embroidery stitches on my BERNINA machine, I jump at the chance! July’s foot of the month is the Embroidery Foot with a Clear Sole.
We are over the moon in love with all of the lovely Robert Kaufman Denim that has arrived! We’ve bundled them up in fat quarter packs, and have precuts in 1/2 yard, too. I’m currently dreaming up lots of projects…
